Organization administrators who manage policies, org settings, and compliance workflows.

  • Policies list and policy detail pages.

  • Org Profile, Business Units, Exports, Reports, Audit & Logs.

  • Create and manage policies for the organization.
  • Maintain org profile and business unit structure.
  • Monitor compliance status and audit activity.

Common actions and how to do them

Create a new policy

1) Open Policies. 2) Click New Policy. 3) Choose a template and fill in required fields. 4) Save the policy as draft.

Create multiple policies from templates

1) Open Policies. 2) Choose bulk creation if available. 3) Select the templates to generate. 4) Confirm the framework and variable overrides. 5) Create the drafts.

Edit a policy

1) Open Policies. 2) Select a policy to open its detail page. 3) Make edits in the policy content or metadata. 4) Save changes to create a new version.

Submit a policy for review

1) Open the policy detail page. 2) Confirm the policy is ready. 3) Click Submit for Review.

Respond to requested changes

1) Open the policy detail page. 2) Review the request comments. 3) Update the policy content or metadata. 4) Save a new version. 5) Submit for review again.

Assign policies to business units

1) Open Business Units. 2) Select a business unit. 3) Assign policies for acknowledgment if supported. 4) Set due dates and confirm assignments.

Export approved policies

1) Open Exports. 2) Choose a single policy export or a policy pack export. 3) Download the generated file when ready.

Manage business units

1) Open Business Units. 2) Create or update business units. 3) Assign owners or update status as needed.

Update the org policy profile

1) Open Org Profile. 2) Update organization size, industry, tone, and data types. 3) Save changes.

Review compliance reports

1) Open Reports. 2) Review the compliance summary. 3) Check overdue assignments and overdue reviews. 4) Drill into a policy or user for detail.

Audit activity for a policy

1) Open Audit & Logs. 2) Filter by policy name, action, or date range. 3) Review timeline entries for the policy lifecycle.

Limits

  • You cannot approve policies unless you also have the PolicyApprover role.
  • You can view templates but only SuperAdmin can create, edit, or delete templates.
